Description
This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
A Sendai-class light cruiser commissioned in 1925, the Jintsu served throughout the Pacific until she was sunk during the Battle of Kolombangara in 1943 with the loss of nearly all her crew. Despite her loss, the battle was a major defeat for the Allies, with the Japanese forces successfully landing 1,200 troops.
This waterline kit from Fujimi is sharply molded in gray styrene and includes a nice fret of photo-etch for the railings, masts, funnel caps, catapults, and more.
