More "last cruise" madness! As the venerable F-14 sails into the history books, being replaced by the capable F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, modelers are being offered a veritable smorgasbord of Tomcat treats in a variety of scales. This is Hasegawa's 1/48 offering, the ever-popular, world famous "Pukin' Dogs" of VF-143. Squadron lore has it that the impressive black griffon insignia has occasionally been described as looking more like an ill canine...hence the moniker! Cartograf decals give you the option of creating two VF-143 different aircraft. The kit also features fine engraved panel lines, positionable (but not swingable) swing wings, rubber tires with metal hubs, and a fret of photo-etched parts. Order your Tomcat tribute today!
