Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 101 parts. 19.7cm long when completed.

Rushed off the drawing boards to combat the growing threat of Germany's Fw-190 "Butcher Birds" this version of the Spitfire was one of the most produced during World War II with production reaching nearly 5,600 aircraft by the end of the war.

Hasegawa has produced a beautiful kit of this important aircraft that for some reason has been ignored until now. This is the "c" version wing armament layout with 2 20mm cannon. You have the option to build either the "normal" elliptical wings or the clipped type seen on some early Spits. The cockpit is exceptionally well detailed and it is a shame to cover it with the canopy. Finely engraved panel lines Markings for two aircraft - the first (see box art) is a "normal" wing version from No. 316 Squadron of the RAF flown by free Polish pilots. The second is a truncated wing from the No. 443 Squadron of the RAF.
