This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.


New kit of a converted passenger liner that served as a floating submarine base, providing supplies and R&R to submarine crews. Built in 1930, she was requisitioned by the IJN for military use just before the war began, and sunk by a U.S. attack in early 1942. Average to above-average detail level in this moderately complex kit.
