Irohahime from "Sengoku Taisen," a real-time card battle game by Sega that can be found in game centers in Japan, has been turned into a figure based on the illustration by Tony! She is the the eldest daughter of Date Masamune and legal wife of Matsudaira Tadateru.
The sculptor is Uzou, who has sculpted many figures based on Tony characters, first of which was the "Shining" series. With his skills he recreated her lively expression, beautiful proportions and her distinctive costume with Japanese traditional patterns. The accessories have been finely sculpted, and her black hair and the sleeves of the outfit look dynamic despite her calm posture.
The feeling of the original illustration has been recreated thanks to the use of tampo printing for the flower patterns on her sleeves and chest and scattered foil on her girdle. The wing-shaped decorative bands behind her back are recreated with frost-coated clear parts to make them look slightly transparent. The main dress is painted with various types of mica colors (blue, red, white etc) to reproduce the different colors and textures of its parts. Thanks to this the figure looks even brighter in light, and with the addition of the cool aqua blue clear base the overall coloring will look slightly different depending on the direction of the light source. This piece is a real gem to display!
