This is an injection-plastic model kit of a scene or item related to the culture of Japan.
Unagi, or eel, is still very much a staple food during the hot Japanese summers, and you can build your own shop with this 1/60-scale kit. This kit is molded mostly in light brown, and includes colored powder (brown and green), a tree in autumn colors, and printed materials for creating the signs and other details.
This is the eighth entry in Kawai Shokai's Fuubutsushi series (fuubutsushi refers to things that remind you of certain seasons). The series includes Japanese buildings, stores, and locations that allow you to recreate Japanese landscapes--it's just like being here! (If you're about 2 inches tall, anyway.) From Edo period sights to relatively modern ones, the wide variety of entries allows you to design the layout of your choice (after taking varying scales into account).
