Description

This is a model kit of a building or other structure.

This is a pack of very realistic scale D16-type reinforcing bars (a.k.a. "rebar") for your mini architectural projects. The pack contains 12 bars, each measuring 0.7mm x 20mm.

Not only is Shizuoka Create's line of scale architectural modeling supplies educational and practical, but it has unlimited hobby uses as well! The rebar is available in four sizes (see below), so you can mix and match to create models suitable for scales between 1/12 and 1/48. The rebar is fabricated by a 110-ton press to create replicas of D13, D16, D22, and D32-type rebar. Of course, you can mix and match the different rebar to represent any scale you want! The powdered mortar used is just like the real thing, except that it looks like the real thing in scale! Resin has been added to give the mortar an incredibly realistic scale "grain" that looks just like scale concrete, with that nice concrete sheen on the smooth surfaces and very realistic grain on broken sections or when reduced to rubble. Perfect for military or science fiction dioramas where you need to show destruction and mayhem! A well-placed whack with a hammer gives you very realistic damage, including perfect scale cracks. The mortar even features various colored flecks and dots of material as seen in real concrete, again in perfect scale! The perfect product for amazing dioramas!
