Description
This is a plastic military vehicle model.
This series of 1/48 tanks was produced in the early 1970's as a kit and grew popular among elementary school-aged children who were not rich enough to buy 1/35 motorized or remote controlled tanks. Tamiya has reproduced these nice tanks as finished, painted and marked models -- with built-in FA-130 motors, this time!! The endless reel rubber tracks ensure a powerful run. Just insert two 1.5V R6/AA/UM3 batteries (not included) and enjoy. Series No.3 is the Type 74 MBT of Japan Ground Defense Force, the first world standard MBT developed by post-war Japan. At the release time of this model kit, the real vehicle was still in its developing stage, not standardized yet, so the model kit was given the name of "MBT 70".
