The German Sd.Kfz.222 is the 4WD light armored car widely used in a reconnaissance role. The original kit was released in 1975 and beloved by AFV modelers for a long time. Tamiya has produced a photo-etched set for the turret canopy and a lathed aluminum 2cm gun barrel to up-grade this good old friend. There has also been added one sprue of the fuel drams (x3pcs.) and "Jerry cans"(x8pcs.) from the German Fuel Dram Set (TAM35186). Three sets of all-new decals are included, too.
