Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.

When Tamiya released their 1/32 Zero, they raised the bar high for kits of this classic Japanese Navy fighter. But they have proved themselves up to their own challenge with this 1/48 kit. By using innovative parts breakdown, this kit can be built up into either a Type 52 (A6M5) or a Type 52 Kou (A6M5a). The cockpit, engine, and landing gear areas are exquisitely detailed, and knowing Tamiya, all the parts will just snap into place. Two styles of drop tanks and spinners are provided, as well as one seated and four standing pilot figures, all outstandingly sculpted. Cowl flaps are provided for both open and closed options, and the landing flaps can be attached dropped or raised. A set of canopy masks is included. Decals are for three aircraft: a Type 52 Kou of the 302nd Naval Fighter Group at Atsugi AB, a type 52 of the 652nd Fighter Group aboard the Junyo in the Mariana Sea, and a Type 52 of the Rabaul Fighter Group on New Britain Island.
