This is a injection plastic and metal radio or remote-controlled car model kit.
The Porsche 911 GT2 was announced at the 1994 Essen Motor Show. It was driven by a rear-mounted 3,600cc flat-6 twin turbocharged engine that generated over 450hp, and powered the rear wheels via a 6-speed transmission. When compared to the original 911, the body featured larger over fenders and air ducts built into the stay of the higher-mounted rear spoiler. This lightweight powerhouse features in races across the globe.
This R/C model assembly kit recreates the 911 GT2, Porsche's racing car developed for races across the world in 1995. Length: 422mm, width: 202mm, height: 137mm. The glamorous form is recreated accurately by the polycarbonate body, down to depictions of bolt-on over fenders. Separate parts recreate the unique rear spoiler with air ducts integrated in the stay, engine hood, plus door mirrors. The TA02SW chassis provides shaft-driven 4WD, and offers a short (236mm) wheelbase and wide tread setup in the traditional Porsche style. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension is fitted with CVA oil dampers. Enclosed front and rear gear cases have built-in diff gears, with a ball differential in the rear. Comes with 2-piece wheels, tires, and inner sponges - the rear uses wide types.
Please note that some separately required items, such as a 2-channel transmitter, receiver, servo, electonic speed controller, and batter pack are required to operate the remote control functions, and are not included in this kit.
