A quarter-century after "Armored Trooper Votoms" first hit the Japanese airwaves, here's an impressive infrared remote-controlled (IRC) Scopedog Turbo Custom that both moves great and looks great, thanks to the brilliant collaboration work of Kyosho and Yamato!

This 1/24 version 2 release is of a Scopedog Turbo Custom as it appeared in the "Red Shoulder Document: Roots of Ambition" OVA. This poseable Scopedog operates on B Band and has LEDs in its lens and heavy machine gun. It comes equipped with a six-tube missile pod, smoke discharger, solid shooter, two-tube missile launcher, gatling gun, heavy machine gun, and a mission pack. A 7cm finished figure of Chirico and a display base are also provided.

The included eight-way wireless infrared controller allows you to maneuver the Scopedog dashing into battle, and will play moving and shooting sound effects. The heavy machine gun emits infrared, and up to two IRC Scopedogs with different bands can battle each other. If an IRC Scopedog gets shot by the infrared from an opponent, the controller will vibrate and play impact and explosion sounds to convey a sense of realism!
