Description

This is an injection-plastic racing car model kit containing some white metal parts.

The Lancia Stratos was the first car ever built specifically as a rally machine. Debuting at San Remo in 1974, the Stratos blew past all competition to take an easy victory. In 1976 the Stratos was improved with a 280-horsepower 4-valve engine, safari chassis, rear spoiler and roof ventilator; and thus equipped, the Stratos won an easy 1-2 victory at Monte Carlo, as well as taking first in several other rallies in that year. Hasegawa's fine model of this machine does more than justice to this compact powerhouse, with finely molded detail, beautiful photo-etched parts (wipers, mirrors, mesh, etc.), and a stunning sheet of decals produced by Cartograf, world-reknowned for their excellent quality.
