Ford has been selling the F series of pickup trucks since 1948, and they're still going strong!  The 1965 model was the fourth generation of a version that first appeared in 1961 and was sold until 1966. It featured a unibody design combining the cab and cargo bed; the frame was renewed from the 1965 model onward. The two-wheel-drive type has gained popularity, including a coil spring suspension in front to improve ride comfort.

This kit is of the 1965 F-100 service type truck, featuring a built-in toolbox and utility bed and a square cab. The front grille, bumper, door mirror, etc. are all reproduced with plated parts, and the interior is reproduced in full detail, including the seats, door linings and dashboard.
