This is a science-fiction assembly kit constructed from resin, white metal and/or other materials.

Here is Yamato's 1/3000 version of the Kazutaka Miyatak-designed Super Dimension Fortress, or SDF-1, from "Macross"! It's based on the data used for Yamato's masterpiece (and highly limited!) 1/2000 SDF-1 Prototype Replica kit--and best of all, Yamato has designed this SDF-1 to be loaded with gimmicks galore and to be transformable. That's right, this SDF-1 can change from its Force Mode to its Robot Mode! In this grand scale, the SDF-1 measures a monstrous 40cm (15.74 inches) in length. Made of ABS, POM, and metal, this epic model truly does justice to the awesome sense of hugeness and mechanical detail of the SDF-1! Instructions are in Japanese, but are easy to follow. 

This very special limited release item is an unassembled, unpainted assembly kit version of Yamato's 1/3000 SDF-1 Macross (see the fully finished version listed below)! Includes special glow-in-the-dark markings.
