One of the most powerful tanks deployed by the German Army in World War II, the Tiger I was first mass-produced in 1942 and immediately launched on the Eastern Front. The 502nd Tank Battalion was the first unit to be equipped with the Tiger I, and it surprised the Soviet forces with its power. The 502nd Heavy Tank Battalion, formed in August 1942, immediately arrived at the Leningrad Front with the Tiger I. A fierce battled ensued over Leningrad with the Soviet Army; the battle continued despite Russia's harsh winter. It was during this time that the Tiger I experienced its first battle and demonstrated its power. Since then, the Tiger I type has undergone numerous improvements, intimidating the Allied countries with its power until the end of the war.

Dragon brings us a 1/35-scale reproduction of the very early version of the German Tiger I tank! This kit reproduces the Tiger I in the Battle of Leningrad, as deployed by the 502nd Heavy Tank Battalion in 1942. This 3-in-1 kit gives you a choice of turrets No. 3, No. 100, and No. 123. A set of miscellaneous goods boxes that were equipped on both sides of Turret No. 100, and a Panzer III miscellaneous goods box attached to the rear of other vehicles, are included. The hull firmly reproduces the characteristics of the very early Tiger I, and prefabricated Magic Tracks are included too. You can choose between the common left-and-right identical type of tracks, and the rarely-seen left-and-right symmetrical type that was only installed on the first 20 tanks. This kit also includes a machined aluminum gun barrel, and 3D-printed parts for the muzzle brake and engine deck grille; copper wires are included too. Order yours today!
