Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

From the manufacturer:

On June 22, 1942, Nazi Germany launched a blitzkrieg attack on Soviet Russia, which started the Russo-German War (known as the Great Patriotic War) during World War II. The Battle of Stalingrad became the turning point of World War II; the Russians began to turn to strategic counteroffensives, until in the summer of 1943, when a battle of tanks broke out in the Kursk area.

As this time the Soviet Union urgently needed a more powerful tank to withstand with Nazi division, so the Russian Central Design Bureau immediately adopted the KV-1S chassis with the installation of a new turret. This transition model is the KV-85 heavy tank. In order to deploy heavy tanks to the front as soon as possible, Joseph Yakovlevich Kotin led the Central Design Bureau for KV-85 improved firepower. After some testing, ultimately the 122mm / D-25T gun was used.

This kit includes decals and photo-etched parts.
