From the manufacturer:
The design of the U.S. Navy F7U-1 Cutlass Fighter was started in 1946. The first test flight took place on September 29, 1948. The Cutlass was the first U.S. fighter to be designed with "after burners" to increase speed performance. The design of the Cutlass owes much to data acquired after World War II from the German Arado Company. Variations of this carrier fighter included missile launcher, reconnaissance, and ground support. The Cutlass was also flown by the "Blue Angels" in 1952.
Includes accurate weapons systems and a detailed pilot figure; decals are also included.
