This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
From the manufacturer:
Still the highest flying and fastest of all armed military aircraft nearly fifty years after it was designed, the MiG-25 Foxbat was a source of great consternation amongst NATO countries at the height of the Cold War. Satellite photos at the time only showed them that the aircraft had an extremely large wing structure. NATO leaders feared that the aircraft was a new, highly maneuverable air superiority fighter. Fortunately, a defector flew a MiG-25 into Japan where its true role (interceptor) was discovered.
The Mig-25 “Foxbat” is one of the most powerful aircraft of the former Soviet Union. Weighing 36 ton's with a top speed of 3,000 km/h (1865 mph) the aircraft was a serious opponent. It still holds today the absolute world altitude record for jet aircraft with 37,650 m (123,523ft).
