This is an injection-plastic model kit of a scene or item related to the culture of Japan.

Build your own Japanese-style water mill, complete with revolving wheel! Molded in green, light brown, and gray plastic, this 1/60-scale Water MIll kit comes with its own real grass--timothy! Wet the kit's mat, sprinkle it with the provided seeds, keep it moist, and soon you'll have a small patch of grass. It won't last forever, of course, but you may be able to find replacement mats at your local gardening store, and you can start over again. The kit also includes a motor for the wheel (requires 2 AA batteries, not included), green and brown powder, glue, thatching for the roof, and a persimmon tree.

This is one of the entries in Kawai Shokai's series of kits of Japanese buildings, stores, and locations that allows you to recreate Japanese landscapes--it's just like being here! (If you're about 2 inches tall, anyway.)
