Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Designed to operate over terrain impassable by normal tanks and to withstand the blast of a nuclear explosion, the unique Soviet Object 279 featured four sets of tracks and a UFO-shaped main hull. Thick armor and a potent 130mm main gun would have made it a formidable opponent on the battlefield. The project was cancelled due to the Soviet military's decision to develop lighter and faster armored vehicles.
Panda Hobby stuns the armor modeling world with their announcement of this incredible tank in 1/35 scale! The highly detailed kit features non-workable indy-link tracks (lots of 'em!), a suspension that can be built raised or depressed, and realistic cast metal surface texture on the turret and hull. Can be built with the hull's outer sections lowered or raised. Includes photo-etched metal detail parts and a metal wire tow cable. An amazing kit of an amazing tank!
