American automobile maker, General Motors Pontiac Grand, added the Catalina to its lineup in 1950 and continued sales of the model until 1981. The 1962 model, released in 1961, joined the second generation of the line, which was in production through 1964.

This kit builds a 1/25 scale model of the 1962 Catalina version of the Pontiac full-size automobile. It features a sporty, stretch two-door hard top body full of '60s charm. Builders can choose from assembling a normal stock or custom version of the auto.

A set of 4 pad-printed Goodyear Polyglas wide tires are included as a bonus. Additionally, a custom front grille, sheet, plated wheels, side muffler parts, and more are including for customizing the kit. A V8 engine sits beneath the hood of the completed kit and includes details like hard wiring and piping. The chassis is also a great recreation of the original vehicle's mechanics and features carefully-crafted suspension and axles.
