This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.

The U.S. Coast Guard was founded in 1915, and engages in a wide range of duties including monitoring territorial waters, securing the safety of marine routes, and marine surveys; among their most important functions is rescue and lifesaving missions. They use a variety of ships and aircraft to carry out these duties, as well as weapons such as M16 and M4 carbines, machine guns, etc. 

This powerful tugboat serves in rescue missions, towing and ice crushing. A familiar site in ports all over the world, it can be used for many other activities as well. Its large engine enables it to tow ships much larger than itself, and its emphasis is on this power rather than speed, so tugs can be slow-moving.

This kit builds into a tugboat approximately 30cm long, with its unique shape clearly represented. Clear parts are included for the cabin windows, and detailed parts are included for the chimney, mast, ventilation hole, winches, etc. A base is also included for display.
