Robert Capa's gift was to take pictures of people; and he travelled the world to do it. Some of the people he photographed were famous; most were not. What is most captivating about his photographs is that in each one, the essence of human interaction is expressed in one of many ways. From the beautiful shot of an old man holding a laughing child, to that of a soldier crouched over a fallen comrade, to a couple smiling lovingly at one another at a party, Capa managed to capture human spirit with his camera. Some of the images are not pretty; but all are touching. All the photos in this book are in black and white; there is very little text, but what there is, is in Japanese. 264 pages.
