This is a Japanese-language illustration (art) book.
From jungle settings to the Wild West to the depths of the sea, Souji Yamakawa's story illustrations brought children of the 1940s and '50s on fantastic adventures. This compact softcover book looks at the late master's major works (today he may be best known for "Shonen Kenya," animated as a movie decades later) and gathers a wealth of examples of his art. All text is in Japanese. 128 pages (64 in color).
