This is a series of gashapon (capsule toys) or trading figures depicting prop airplanes.
An interesting release from Takara, with apparently some help from Hasegawa: a "skeleton model" 1/48 Zero trading figure set. One plane is split over five inner boxes, one box each for the engine, forward fuselage, aft fuselage, port wing, starboard wing and tail/aft fuselage. The port side parts are designed so as to build either a "skeleton" or "fully skinned" version. The engine comes with a workstand to display it on. In addition, optional parts are included in the series to enable a Type 52, Type 52a, and Type 52b to be built. Accessories also vary between the variants, with a standing pilot, goose and dog included with the starboard wing for the 52, a seated pilot with the same wing for the 52a, and a schoolgirl on a bicycle with that wing for the 52b. Sold by the randomly-packed box of 10 inner boxes. Please note that these are trading items and are individually sealed and randomly packed in boxes of 10 before shipment to HobbyLink Japan. As a result we are unable to honor requests for individual or specific items, nor can we promise you which one(s) you will receive in a box. Please order only if you are willing to accept any of the possible types.
