This is a injection plastic and metal radio or remote-controlled car model.
A Takara Tomy/Tamiya tie-up! This little Q-Steer racer is a model of...a model! Yes, it's a perfect little replica of Tamiya's "The Boomerang" radio-controlled race buggy, now offered by Takara Tomy as a wee infra-red-controlled racer. The Boomerang moves forward, backward, and can turn right or left, at two different speeds. The controller also acts as a battery charger, charging up the Boomerang in 50 seconds (no indication is given anywhere as to how long it will run on a single charge, however). Requires three AAA batteries, not included. The infra-red controller works to a range of about 1.5 meters. A, B, C, or D Band can be selected on the transmitter to operate up to four vehicles together without interference.
