This US Navy Grumman F-14A Tomcat VF-211 "Fighting Checkmates" was used in Operation Southern Watch, Christmas 1997. During its deployment as part of Operation Iraqi Southern Watch in December 1997, a seasonally decorated "Brutus", the unit’s mascot, adorned the stabilizers of this F-14. The wings of this latest Tomcat model are moveable. This completed model has the details down to the finest points, and the Christmas paint is adds some extra fun!
