Trailer trucks are indispensable for logistics in America and elsewhere; semi-trailers that are connected to a tractor for towing are made in various types depending on the type of cargo loaded. One of the most versatile types is the flatbed trailer. Since it has no roof or side wall, it's possible to load cargo of virtually any shape. These semi-trailers can carry a wide variety of cargo, and are a common sight on the highways.

This model from Moebius reproduces a flatbed-type trailer with a total length of 48 feet. Its simple loading platform is shown open; for the chassis, the two main frames on the left and right are separate parts, and a cross member is combined to reproduce the mechanism similarly to that of the actual vehicle. The deck is cambered; a flat deck is also included. It features two rear axles, accurately molded leaf springs, and a toolbox installed between the two axles. The floorboard is a large integrated part; the shape is completed by attaching it to the completed frame. The soft PVC tires are realistically textured, and set with chrome-plated wheels. Combine it with a tractor or cargo for a powerful display!
