2CV 1955:

• The 2 CV's shape caused quite a stir in France in 1948. It reflected the desire of Citroën's director for a "Four wheels under an umbrella" design. Although the 2 CV evolved, it kept its distinctive shape until the Nineties. It was only at the end of 1957 that Citroën mass-produced 2 CVs with a sheet metal boot door. Until then, only accessory manufacturers designed fittings such as the one featured on this 1955 model.

2CV Flower Power:

• Designed for the mass market, cheap to run and easy to maintain, the 2 CV became a hit with youngsters in the Seventies. This lovable car soon became a regular sight at peace protests and hippy gatherings. This model is designed to symbolise universal peace, "Flower Power", and the ideals and dreams of the Seventies.
