This VF-0D Phoenix used by the main character is the "premium finish" version, which means it boasts a special paint job that reproduces the textures of the mechanical settings from the OVA, such as color fade from ultraviolet rays. The markings were especially reviewed and adjusted to fit with the specialized paint, and scaled markings have been applied to various parts of the fuselage. Panel lines have also been inked, and stains have been applied, to key areas.
