This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.


This product is a special edition of the 1/700 scale model of the Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft carrier "Soryu" from Fujimi Models, featuring additional photo-etched parts.

Description:
The Soryu served as the lead ship of the Soryu-class aircraft carriers and was a significant asset to the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. This special edition model kit offers a full-hull assembly, allowing for a complete representation of the ship. A display stand is included for showcasing the finished model. The lower part of the hull is constructed as a single molded piece, including the propellers and rudders. In addition to the kit-supplied parts, the model features precision machine gun parts for the 25mm triple-mount, twin-mount, and single-mount guns. The 96-type 25mm machine gun is designed in two pieces, allowing for easy separation of the gunmetal barrel and the ship-colored base during painting.

The kit includes various aircraft with a change in their molded color from clear to gray for improved workability. Decals are provided for the national markings, white lines on the deck, and flags. The kit also includes photo-etched parts for enhanced detail, featuring items such as handrails, bridge window frames, davits, and signal lights.
