This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
The second of the four Konig class battleships, the SMS Grosser Kurfurst was laid down in 1911 and commissioned into the German Imperial Navy in 1914. During the first World War, the Grosser Kurfurst was present in a number of actions and battles throughout the war, including the famous Battle of Jutland. Surviving the war, the Grosser Kurfurst was eventually scuttled with the fleet at Scapa Flow, only to be later raised and sold for scrapping.
ICM, fresh off their release of the sister ship Konig, brings us this new kit of the Grosser Kurfurst in 1/700th scale! According to the manufacturer, this particular kit is the very first attempt to release the Grosser Kurfurst in 1/700th scale. This ship can be built as either a full-hull version or as a waterline kit. Decals are also included.
