This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The Mikoyan Grevich I-75 prototype interceptor was the last model of the I-7 series. It was a refined and modified version of the I-7U with a powerful Lyrica AL-7F-1 engine and a Urugan intercept system; it flew for the first time in April of 1958. It was armed with two K-8 air-to-air mid-range semi-active radar guided missiles. The test of the I-75 showed excellent performance, but the development of the Urugan intercept system was delayed, and the plan was canceled in 1959.
This limited edition model kit of the MiG I-75 will be about 25.4cm long with a wingspan of 13.8cm when completed; 135 parts. It includes photo-etched parts, painting masks, two kind of canopies (open and closed), two K-8 missiles and decals for one marking version.
