This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Maritime Self-Defense Force began deploying trackers in 1957; named the "Otaka," this aircraft operated as an anti-submarine patrol aircraft for use on land bases. This is the first production of this kit in a long time! The radome of the lower fuselage surface is movable, and the kit includes parts to build the aircraft in stored or expanded states. Box art by Tankro Kato.
