This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
From the manufacturer:
Serving from the 1960s through the 1980s, the Convair F-106 Delta Dart was considered as one of the best interceptors in the history of the U.S. Air Force. They served as the primary all-weather interceptor aircraft of the Air Force and the Air National Guard for more than 29 years. They are the main "dancing partner" of the Russian Tu-95 Bear tactical bombers.
The F-106B is the two-seat combat-capable training version of the Delta Dart. Due to the extra seat, the fuselage is actually better area ruled, combined with a likely reduction in weight. The construction of the former weapon bay and the door were also adjusted for the longer cockpit. Sixty-three of this two-seat version were built.
Trumpeter's kit of the U.S. Air Force F-106B Delta Dart consists of over 130 parts. Includes decals for three versions.
