Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
A new-tool "easy assembly kit" of the P-40M, in 1/48 scale from Hobby Boss. This is a glue kit, not a snap-fit kit, however the parts count has been kept to a minimum (only 37 pieces) and the cockpit and landing gear detail is fairly basic - although all the really crucial bits are there! Uses poly caps to hold the propeller and wheels in place while allowing them to rotate. A good kit for a younger modeler. Includes decals for two colorful shark-mouthed aircraft: "188" of the 75th FS USAAF and "GA M" of 112 Squadron RAF.
