This is a Japanese-language illustration (art) book.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the 1979 anime classic "Mobile Suit Gundam," this book offers a collection of Kunio Okawara's amazingly beautiful illustrations of various Mobile Suits and mecha from the show drawn as he did back in the '70s using traditional methods. From the first Gundam to Guncannon, Guntank, White Base, and numerous Zeon Mobile Suits, Mobile Armors, and spaceships, this all-color book presents Okawara-sensei's artwork in full page and two-page spreads. There's also a section that provides a look at how he drew the Zaku II Type G illustration, from an idea sketch to the final coloring. Softcover with dust jacket.
