From the manufacturer:
The most numerous and famous tank in the world's history was the Soviet T-34. It was designed by the Design Bureau of Kharkov plant number 183 under the leadership of M.I. Koshkin.
Its serial production was launched in 1940. It was the first mass-production tank with anti-projectile armor, a powerful diesel engine and a 76.2mm long-barreled gun. It was the world's best tank up to the end of 1941.
The modification with the improved turret, known as a "nut," was in production since 1942. In spring 1943 the commander's cupola was installed.
The T-34 with the 76.2mm F-34 gun was the main Soviet medium tank up to the end of 1944, when it was replaced by the more powerfully armed T-34-85. There were 35,467 T-34/76 tanks produced in six plants between 1940 and 1944.
This kit will be 18.9cm long and 7.5cm tall when finished; includes 192 + 51 parts. Decals are included, as are figures of 4 tank crewmen.
