As seen in the new anime movie “Girls und Panzer das Finale”, the Kensan (Japan Tank Association) performed a demonstration flight at the opening ceremony of "Infinite Orbit Cup”! In real life this aircraft was called the Kawasaki Ki-78 and was developed by the Imperial Japanese Army to study laminar flow profile wings and possibly be used to attempt a world speed record.  One prototype was built however performance did not meet expectations and the project was cancelled in 1944.

This resin kit comes to us from Platz in conjunction with Unlimited Air Models.
